A name or location entered into a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that feature. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not retain or log those search terms on our systems.

An email sent to us is kept as needed to answer it. We do not disclose the message outside our organization unless the law requires disclosure.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
This site neither keeps nor sells a database of personal criminal records. It explains how to reach the Garfield County Sheriff's Records Division, Garfield Combined Court, Colorado Bureau of Investigation, and Colorado Sex Offender Registry. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not compiled into consumer reports or third-party criminal profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the site's search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and disclosure practices govern the information entered there. We do not control those terms, so review the provider's policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Throughout the site we link to sheriff's office pages, court portals, state agency sites, legal aid groups, and third-party search tools. Clicking any of those links takes you off our site. At that point, their privacy policy governs your visit. Read it before sharing any personal details.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.

We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
